Solution Focused Hypnotherapy for weight management is not about telling you what to eat or how to diet. It is about us working together to help you regain a healthy relationship with food so that you can enjoy food with control. Together we will work, step by step, in a way that will work for you in your daily life, so that you can make the changes that you want and be the person you want to be. In our first session together, we will look at those changes that you want to make and I will help you to visualise your preferred future.
During our sessions we will explore your successes, talk about your next step and what will help you to achieve that next step. We will look at coping strategies that work for you and the strengths that you have, to help you succeed. I will be asking you questions that will help you to change your negative and unhelpful thinking patterns and break unhelpful habits.
It is easier to make the changes that you want when you are relaxed, calm and sleeping well – so I will be working on helping you to relax and sleep well too. You will receive a FREE relaxation download to help you with this process.
During the hypnosis part of the session, I will guide your mind to a calm, relaxed place where your subconscious mind can process what we have been talking about and plan the best way forward for you and your route to success. I will also use techniques such as positive visualisation and positive suggestion to help reinforce your new healthy habits.
