THE BEST OF YOU IS YET TO COME
DEPRESSION AND LOW MOOD
It’s natural to feel low from time to time – life has its challenges, and moods can fluctuate. For many people, these feelings pass quite quickly, and they’re able to return to a sense of balance. However, when low mood or depression persists, it can start to affect everyday life and make even simple tasks feel overwhelming.
People experiencing depression often describe feeling disconnected from the world around them, finding it difficult to enjoy activities they once loved, or struggling to see things in a positive light.
Common signs of depression may include:
• Persistent low mood
• Feeling sad, flat, or angry
• Loss of energy or motivation
• Reduced interest in hobbies and activities
• Difficulty concentrating
• Feeling tired or drained more easily
• Changes in sleep (too much or too little)
• Changes in appetite (eating more or less than usual)
• Feelings of guilt, hopelessness, or worthlessness
How Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Can Help
Hypnotherapy can support you in creating gentle, sustainable change by:
• Challenging unhelpful thought patterns and encouraging more positive, constructive ways of thinking
• Helping your brain to produce the natural “feel-good” chemicals that lift mood, boost motivation, and build resilience
• Focusing on the future you want for yourself and breaking it down into manageable, achievable steps
• Having conversations that are filled with hope and possibility
During our sessions, I will guide you in recognising your strengths, shifting your perspective, and developing strategies to feel calmer, stronger, and more in control. You’ll also learn techniques you can use in daily life to support your mental wellbeing.
As part of your journey, you’ll receive access to my free relaxation download, designed to help you unwind and reset between sessions.
Moving Forward
My aim is to help you reconnect with the real you – so you can find enjoyment again, restore your sense of balance, and feel able to cope with life’s ups and downs.
