The stop smoking session is a combination of talking therapy and hypnosis.
During the session I will explain the role your mind plays in smoking (how your subconscious mind has created the belief that smoking cigarettes is vital for your survival). We will talk through your first smoke-free day like a dress rehearsal and discuss coping strategies. We will explore the strengths and abilities that you have that will help you to succeed. I will use very specific questions that will help you to change your thought patterns and your thinking processes, breaking negative behaviours and thinking patterns associated with smoking to enable you to make the change that you want.
During hypnosis, your subconscious mind will process what we have talked about and focus on what you want so that you can make the change that you want.
The stop smoking session is usually one session lasting between one and a half and two hours.
Sessions are tailored to your specific needs so if you would prefer to I can help you over several shorter sessions instead – whatever is best for you.
